January!

Wow! I can't believe it's the middle of January already! How are you all doing? I hope this finds all of you well and happy. I'm doing great and thankful for a little time off right now. :)

What are some of your New Year's Resolutions? You can leave a comment at the bottom of this post and let us know! Mine is to worry less and be more organized. I hope I accomplish both. I'm doing pretty good so far! :)

I was able to go on an amazing vacation at the beginning of this month! We went to Hawaii and had a lovely time. We were able to go see the whales and it was so beautiful! We also saw flying fish, and a sea turtle! So neat. It's really amazing how many different creatures and climates God has put on this earth! So unique to each area. It's also helped me to appreciate all of the animals and surroundings here more, too. I'm so thankful to have had the time to relax.

I spent today catching up on a lot of little things that needed to be done, so that is nice to have so many of those taken care of now.

It was such a nice, sunny day on Wednesday and pretty warm, too! Right around 45 to 50 degrees! It was great. I'm looking forward to more of those. :)

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, Everyone! Well, the show is done, and it was an amazing year! It was even better than we ever hoped! What a rewarding experience it has been. I worked very hard this year, but it was definitely worth it. We had such fun during the show and so many wonderful compliments from the audiences. I'm so happy to have my talented orchestra members and quite thankful for all of them. They make the show very special. They surprised me during the last show with a gift certificate and a beautiful picture of "Starry Night". For those of you that don't know, we performed the song, Starry, Starry Night, in the show. How thoughtful of them. I believe J.R. is the one that found it. :) What a neat group of people to have in one place. I feel so blessed to be their friend.

We are already working on next year's show. It's going to be even better than this year. We always want to improve, so we're thinking of new ideas all the time. It's really a lot of fun, and gives me the opportunity to be creative. Sometimes it's a challenge, but a good one. :)

I'm getting ready for Christmas and hoping the weather holds out for everyone. I won't travel if it's not safe, however. It just isn't worth it. The important thing is that everyone stay safe. Phones are wonderful to connect with, if nothing else. :) I hope all of your preparations are going well. Be smart and remember the real reason for the celebration: The Birthday of Jesus!!!! He wants us to be safe, too! :)

Believe it or not, we only have 4 shows to go! I'm sad because it's been so much fun. It's a lot of work, but very rewarding. The last 4 shows for this year are as follows:

Thanksgiving! :)

Hello! :) I just wanted to say thank you to all of you that have come to the show so far! It has been a wonderful and exciting year! We are doing shows until December 18th! :) We would love to have all of you at the Christmas show! It's going really well and we are getting such great compliments from people. :)

This last week, I had a very special group of people at the show. :) Three buses of people from Grand Island and the surrounding area, came to the show! It was so much fun to have them there and such an honor. Thank you to all of you for being there! I truly appreciate it!

We have had some very interesting weather for November, and today was no exception. It was over 60 degrees and sunny for a lot of the day! It's really been quite enjoyable. It's amazing with it being this late in November, but there are some flowers still doing really well and it's even been nice enough to sit outside in the sun a little bit! :) I like to do that when I can to soak up some good vitamin D! :)

Hello Everyone! I hope you're all well and feeling happy! We are doing great here. :)

Just a short update for everyone. We are having such a tremendous response to the Christmas show! It is really going well. I'm so thankful! Our schedule is every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday afternoon at 3:00 at the New Americana Theatre. We'd love to have you all come and see it! It's so much fun!

Voice lessons are going great and I've been enjoying the mild, and sometimes quite warm, November weather we've been having! I feel so blessed to be able to spend some days outside with no jacket! It's amazing. My flowers are still going and my petunia even bloomed again! How neat! I love it!

I had some very relaxing days off and am ready to get back to the show tomorrow. I got a lot done in the way of chores, so that is a pleasing accomplishment. :)

Christmas Show!!!! :)

Hello Everyone! I hope you're all well and happy! Are you ready to see a Christmas show? I hope so! We have been working on our Christmas show and it will be great! It's full of happy and heartwarming songs! I'm so excited to share it with all of you. :)

We do not have a show later today, Sunday the 1st. Our schedule for the rest of the year until December 18th is every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday at 3:00 at the New Americana Theatre! :) We will open our show Tuesday, November 3rd. There are beautiful costumes, including a very special skirt that my mom made for me! :) Thank you! :) Erma has a very special part in the Christmas show, as well! (She insisted, you know.) :) So much fun! Can't wait for you all to see it. :)

The show is going so well and I thank all of you so much for coming to see it and letting others know about it! I'm having such a nice time and am so thankful for all of you. :)

There aren't a lot of updates about anything else, but just wanted you to know about the Christmas schedule! I did have a nice time at church this evening and had fun finding a few more things for my costumes. :) Then, I bought some Halloween candy for the kids that come to our door! It was so cute seeing them in their costumes. Very sweet. :)

Christmas Rehearsals?

Hello Everyone! Yes, it's true! We have already been rehearsing for the Christmas show. :) I hope you're all doing well and having a lovely Fall season.

The show has been going so well and we're so excited for the Christmas show! I can't believe it's almost here. This year has gone by so fast. My goodness. We have been blessed with great crowds at the show and have received really wonderful compliments from so many people! It has really been fun to see how the show has changed since we opened in March. It has gotten better and better. The orchestra does so much during the show and makes it even more fun than before! :) I'm really having a great time with everyone.

The Christmas show will be just beautiful and have a lot of fun and funny parts, as well! :) (Of course!) Erma will have a special part in the Christmas production and there will be some amazing numbers with the harp, too. I'm really looking forward to this. We've picked a lot of my favorite Christmas songs, so that is really fun for me to get to sing! :) The first half of the show will be all the best from this year, and the entire second half will be the Christmas portion. :) So much fun!!!!!!!!!!

It's been quite rainy all day here. I'm so happy that I've been able to be inside relaxing and catching up on things. It's good to have days like this every so often. I hope you're all doing fine with your weather, too. My mums are still doing great! Such amazing and hearty flowers. They have so many pretty colors, too.

I got to catch up with one of my friends yesterday evening, so that was nice. It's rare to find time to just sit and chat, but that's exactly what we got to do! I loved it!
