Christmas Show!!!! :)

Hello Everyone! I hope you're all well and happy! Are you ready to see a Christmas show? I hope so! We have been working on our Christmas show and it will be great! It's full of happy and heartwarming songs! I'm so excited to share it with all of you. :)

We do not have a show later today, Sunday the 1st. Our schedule for the rest of the year until December 18th is every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday at 3:00 at the New Americana Theatre! :) We will open our show Tuesday, November 3rd. There are beautiful costumes, including a very special skirt that my mom made for me! :) Thank you! :) Erma has a very special part in the Christmas show, as well! (She insisted, you know.) :) So much fun! Can't wait for you all to see it. :)

The show is going so well and I thank all of you so much for coming to see it and letting others know about it! I'm having such a nice time and am so thankful for all of you. :)

There aren't a lot of updates about anything else, but just wanted you to know about the Christmas schedule! I did have a nice time at church this evening and had fun finding a few more things for my costumes. :) Then, I bought some Halloween candy for the kids that come to our door! It was so cute seeing them in their costumes. Very sweet. :)

Christmas Rehearsals?

Hello Everyone! Yes, it's true! We have already been rehearsing for the Christmas show. :) I hope you're all doing well and having a lovely Fall season.

The show has been going so well and we're so excited for the Christmas show! I can't believe it's almost here. This year has gone by so fast. My goodness. We have been blessed with great crowds at the show and have received really wonderful compliments from so many people! It has really been fun to see how the show has changed since we opened in March. It has gotten better and better. The orchestra does so much during the show and makes it even more fun than before! :) I'm really having a great time with everyone.

The Christmas show will be just beautiful and have a lot of fun and funny parts, as well! :) (Of course!) Erma will have a special part in the Christmas production and there will be some amazing numbers with the harp, too. I'm really looking forward to this. We've picked a lot of my favorite Christmas songs, so that is really fun for me to get to sing! :) The first half of the show will be all the best from this year, and the entire second half will be the Christmas portion. :) So much fun!!!!!!!!!!

It's been quite rainy all day here. I'm so happy that I've been able to be inside relaxing and catching up on things. It's good to have days like this every so often. I hope you're all doing fine with your weather, too. My mums are still doing great! Such amazing and hearty flowers. They have so many pretty colors, too.

I got to catch up with one of my friends yesterday evening, so that was nice. It's rare to find time to just sit and chat, but that's exactly what we got to do! I loved it!

October!

Hello! I can't believe that it's October already! Everything is going really well and we're all having a lot of fun at the show. We are now performing every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday at 3:00. (We used to be on Monday, so I thought I'd make that clear!)

We did something so fun last Sunday, October 4th! We had a benefit show for Christian Action Ministries, (CAM), and the community and visitors brought 780 food items to one show! How great and amazing when everyone works together to accomplish something so important. It was a good feeling for everyone to be helping others and the show was so enjoyable for all of us.

It was such a beautiful day today. The sun was shining and it was warm with a nice cool breeze. What a perfect day for so many things. I actually spent some time just relaxing outside for a bit before I went in for my show today. What a blessing to have down-time and just be able to appreciate the beauty of the outdoors. :) I got some pictures of my very pretty mums, too! They are such amazing flowers! So fun to have flowers blooming in the Fall.

We are already working on Christmas music for the show. I'm really looking forward to everything we're going to do! I'm not going to spoil any surprises, but it will be quite beautiful and full of Christmas Spirit! :) I hope you can all come out to see it!

I just looked at the weather report, by the way, and boy am I glad I got to be outside for a little bit today. We are supposed to have a lot of rain tomorrow and Friday, and the temperatures are supposed to get a bit cool! Well, I don't know why I thought it should be something different with it being October and all!

Hello and Happy Fall to all of you! We've had some mild, but very wet weather lately! I just heard some thunder a bit ago, so we may be in for some more rain. At least it hasn't turned too chilly, yet. :)

The show is going really well. I hear about my wonderful orchestra members after every show and people are enjoying the wide variety of songs that we perform. It's so much fun and so fulfilling to do. I'm very thankful for the opportunity and love getting to do my own comedy!

I have been singing at the Haygood show intermissions to promote my show, and the other day I had the pleasure of meeting Shirley Jones from the Partridge Family. She is a kind person and was fun to meet. :) I also got to meet some people from Vancouver last week at my show and people from all over the United States! It's such an honor for me to have people choose my show from so many others they could attend. Everyone has been pleasantly surprised and has really enjoyed the show. Thank you so much to all of you for being there!

I have found myself being quite excited about my free-time lately! It is such a gift to have time to just come home and spend some quiet time resting or watching a favorite show that I've recorded. Simple things, but things that really make me happy! We are so blessed to even have television when you think about it. I also just started a book that I'm looking forward to reading. It's a book my mom gave to me and it really sounds good! It's so fun to picture the story as it goes along. :)

September Days

Hello Everyone! My goodness, what beautiful weather we've been having! I hope you're all enjoying nice temperatures and good health. :) Things are going so well here.

First of all, my parents were here last week and we had such a nice time together. It's always so much fun to have them here! We got to see some shows and eat at some of our favorite places. We also celebrated my mom's birthday!!!! Woo hoo! So happy they were able to come visit. They do so much for us, too! We really appreciate them. God bless you and we love you! :)

The voice lessons are going quite well, too. I'm keeping very busy with them and seeing a lot of improvement in my students. They work hard to apply the lessons that they learn and it really does pay off for them. It makes me feel happy to see them feel good about what they're doing. :)

The show is just going so great! I feel so blessed to have the crowds that we do and the amazing musicians that we have. Everything works so well together. We're having so much fun and I have such a great time being "Erma". I'm so happy we were able to put the comedy in the show, because I enjoy doing that as well as the singing. It's all part of who I am and it's so rewarding to get to perform the things that feel so great in my voice at my show. What a beautiful opportunity. I'm truly thankful for, and energized by it all. Thank you to all of you that have been to the show to support us and what we're doing! It means so much.

I'm actually getting to have a day, today, where I am not working, and it's a bit odd. :) I keep thinking I need to do something, but I don't! It's a nice little vacation day. I'm just catching up on some golf on TV, doing laundry and having snacks! Quite lovely!

Hello to you!

Hello Everyone and Happy Labor Day Weekend! :) I hope you're all happy and well. I'm doing great and having so much fun!

The show is growing and growing! We just added another musician for the orchestra two weeks ago! He is great! We now have 9 musicians on stage playing 18 instruments live for the show! It's amazing! We also just added two new songs and they sound so neat! The comedy is with Erma is going quite well. She is quite a character! :) For those of you who haven't seen Erma, you need too. :) We are just having a great time together!

The weather has been just gorgeous and my plants are doing so well! We're going to have some little peppers to eat soon, and the flowers are still blooming and looking beautiful. :) I love this time of year when it's just so nice outside!

Hello there! :) My goodness, I had started two other "Cassandre's Corners" and forgot to finish them and put them on here! I couldn't believe I hadn't updated you before today! :) I hope you're all having a great day and enjoying the summer weather!

I can' t believe that it's already the middle of August. Wow. This summer has flown by. I've been having so much fun and keeping very busy. I just had some 8pm shows last week, so the schedule was quite different from what I've been doing. We had great shows and some big crowds! Everyone is having a lot of fun and they're excited about the orchestra! They are very talented people and I'm very thankful to have them on stage with me. :) I really have a great time performing the comedy, as well! It's so different from everything else that I do and gives me a lot of creative freedom! :D I can't wait for all of you to see it!

I was able to attend a Springfield Cardinal's game earlier this month and had a lovely time! We got to sit in box seats and they had food available for us while we watched the game. :) It was so much fun!!!! That field is so beautiful and the games they play on the side during the game are so funny to watch! They had a milkshake drinking contest, and I was wishing I'd gotten to compete in that one! :)

Well, my plants are doing just fabulously! We've had pretty nice weather for them to flourish. My mums have SOOOOO many buds on them, too! They are going to be amazing!!!!

I sang at two weddings this month and really had a lot of fun. It's such an honor to be asked to sing at weddings and such a joy to be there!

My voice lesson students are doing really well and I'm still having a wonderful time as a Mary Kay beauty consultant. :) There are so many amazing women that have become my friends. :) What a blessing!
